RECIPES
CHAMPAGNE VINAIGRETTE
We love salad in our house. I find a good dressing makes all the difference and this vinaigrette will make all of your salads even more delicious.
VEGGIE BOWL
I love a colorful bowl of mixed roasted and raw veggies for lunch, the contrast of colors, crunch and texture are what make this bowl so outstanding. This recipe is easy to make ahead of time and travels very well.
SABICH LITE™
I was craving the flavors of Israeli and concocted what turned out to be a dynamite sandwich, I’m coining Sabich Lite™ since it isn’t really a Sabich sandwich but gives the essence of one.
DIJON SOY SALMON
Sometimes recipes come to me, this dijon soy glazed salmon with Yuzu Kosho pickles will be in heavy rotation for a long time. If you’d never had Yuzu Kosho it a spicy, salty, citrusy Japanese condiment. It tastes good on everything!
DINING OUT WITH ALLERGIES
Often the hardest part about having a food allergy is how people react to it. Having food allergies can cause anxiety, isolation, and fear of dining out. People aren’t always empathetic to garlic allergies and don’t consider their responses when you tell them you’re allergic to garlic.
NEW YORK EATS
A few of my favorite New York restaurants, offering great customer service and garlic-free dishes.
SAM'S CRISPY LABNEH POTATOES
This potato recipe has become a go-to in our home and I often bring it to dinner parties. It’s delicious, travels well, and is a crowd-pleaser. The potatoes are crispy and creamy in contrast to the rich labneh and spice from the Aleppo pepper.
ROASTED CHICKEN WITH APRICOTS
This is one of my favorite roasted chicken recipes it was born out of researching various Moroccan chicken dishes and has now turned into my own. It’s warm, spiced and has a sweet heat paired with the caramelized apricots - each bite makes you want another.
PURÉED CARROT SOUP
🥕 We had a surplus of carrots and the idea of making soup came to mind. To be honest, I’ve been having cooking fatigue this week and wanted something easy to make.
AVOCADO, EGG AND CHEESE
The “thing” that makes this sandwich dynamite is Beth’s Farm Kitchen - Mighty Hot Pepper Jelly, it’s the perfect combination of sweet heat. It may sound odd to put this on an egg sandwich, or any sandwich for that matter, but it’s 100% the right move.
