CARROT SLAW
This crunchy carrot slaw is a delicious alternative to traditional coleslaw. While I love coleslaw on occasion my body doesn’t care for raw cabbage, it can be bloating and hard to digest. This slaw will give you all the crunch and satisfaction of a traditional slaw without the bloat. Let’s make it!
MARINATED BEETS
This is a simple and incredibly delicious roasted beet recipe. I prefer golden beets over red. The golden color and tone always looks beautiful in a salad.
HOLIDAY BRUSSELS
These are the easiest and most flavorful roasted brussels sprout dish to add to your Holiday spread. Everyone will be asking you for the recipe. My friend Daniela made this wonderful dish and her recipe has now become a staple for us and hopefully you too!
ISRAELI SALAD
An Israeli Breakfast is the best way to start your day. I like to imagine I’m strolling down Dizengoff popping into a cafe then off to the beach in Tel Aviv. To recreate this at home you’ll need eggs, labneh, a cucumber and tomato salad, bread, Za’atar cheese, hummus and olives. I simplified this morning with what I had on hand.
SWEET & SOUR PEPPERS
Wanting to try something new we decided to pick up some thinly sliced pork chops at the butcher. I turned to Gordon Ramsay for guidance and found his recipe for Pork Chops with Sweet and Sour Peppers and Onions. Here’s my spin on his dish with a few allergy-friendly substitutions.
BALSAMIC BRUSSELS
We went for dinner at my friend Daniela’s house one evening and she made the most delicious roasted brussels sprouts. I immediately asked her for the recipe. Turns out these aren’t only delicious but easy to make. Here’s what you need.
SUSHI RICE
We love seasoned sushi rice, you only need a few ingredients to make this delicious side dish.
STRAWBERRY SALSA
You never knew you needed strawberry salsa in your life until right now. While grilling chicken for some tacos I took stock of what we had on hand to make pico or salsa and wound up with Strawberry Salsa!
