THE 8 ESSENTIALS YOU NEED TO MAKE DRESSING AT HOME!
These are the eight essential items you need in your pantry to make endless homemade dressings. I keep these on hand at all times. When I’m making a vinaigrette I use an organic extra virgin olive olive that doesn’t have an incredibly strong flavor. I save my most expensive grassy, polyphenol rich extra virgin olive oils for when I want the flavor of the oil to shine. Check out some of my favorite extra virgin olive oils here.
This California Olive Ranch evoo is a solid workhorse for cooking and dressings it has a good flavor but isn’t overpowering. Let’s get into the essentials you need to “add to cart” and how to make five different dressings.
ADD TO CART:
CALIFORNIA RANCH EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (I prefer a single variety of olive not a blend)
LEMONS
RED WINE VINEGAR
BALSAMIC VINEGAR
SIR KENSINGTON’S DIJON MUSTARD
DIAMOND CRYSTAL KOSHER SALT
BLACK PEPPER
The ratio of olive oil to vinegar or citrus are always 60/40
