THINGS TO DO BESIDES COOKING & READING

It’s hard to stay zen while stuck inside. Everyday feels a little like groundhog’s day but our boredom or frustration is only temporary. Staying home keeps us safe from COVID-19 and allows for the first responders to care for those that are sick. To break up the days we’ve found new activities to keep us entertained.

GAMES

We ordered Scrabble, Scattergories, Jenga, Uno, Sushi-Go and a few puzzles to pass the time. It’s been fun to play games we generally wouldn’t make time for. It also gets us off our phones which is great.

ONLINE WORKOUTS

The two studios I work out at in-person have both transitioned their offerings online. It’s been so nice to see familiar faces while awkwardly sweating in our kitchen. Check out: F45 and Ishta Yoga

SPA AT HOME

I’m obsessed with skincare and while in quarantine I’ve turned my spa days into even more of a treat. I picked up some new masks and tools to make it more of a tranquil experience. I love these Dr.Jart Masks

FLOWERs

When available I add flowers to our grocery order every week, it brightens our apartment and brings a little nature inside.

DRAWING + COLORING

I’ve found coloring or drawing has been a way to relax my mind when it’s busy trying to process all of the terrible news happening all over the world. Amazon has a bunch of coloring books and art supplies to choose from.
