LIME & HONEY SALMON
We’ve been ordering seafood from Pierless Fish normally a wholesale distributor who is currently offering home deliveries in NYC and Westchester. We ordered Scottish Salmon and Arctic Char. This recipe is simple and delicious, I don’t have real measurements because I seasoned on the fly - use your best judgment! The salmon has the right combo of sweet and salty paired with the bright and herby quinoa, even a picky eater will love it!
INGREDIENTS
1lb Salmon
1 Lime
Honey
Gluten-Free Soy Sauce
Salt & Pep
Quinoa
Dill + Cilantro
Jalapeño
Oil Oil
LIME & HONEY SALMON
Place the salmon in a baking dish, season with salt and pepper, squeeze the juice of half a lime over top, drizzle honey in a zig zag motion over top and a few swirls of soy sauce. There are very precise measurements, haha. I really did season on the fly and it turned out so well. Let the fish marinate for at least an hour. Pre-heat the over to 400 degrees, add a little bit of water to the baking dish (not on the salmon), about a finger nail deep then cover with tin foil and bake for 25-35mins depending on how thick your piece of salmon is.
HERB QUINOA
Cook you quinoa as directed on the packaging. Once cooked add the juice of half a lime, some dill and cilantro, salt, pepper, diced jalapeños and evoo. Toss and serve with the salmon.
